TBPRS aka (Tosee Bazargani Pishtaz Rah-o-Shahr Company) is one of the subsidiary companies of railway employees’ savings fund institution, and all railway employees are its shareholders. This company started working in 1992, and in addition to carrying low loads of train passengers, it is the only one in charge of transporting low loads and commercial cargo by rail fleet in the country.

Based on this and in order to increase the market share of Iranian Railway Company RAI from the place of low cargo transportation, TBPRS company has started to develop Cargo transportation infrastructure in stations all over the country. This has been done based on experience and technical knowledge with the aim of saving energy consumption, reducing road hazards and air pollution, so that currently it is possible to carry low cargo in all stations across the country.

Also, based on the perspective document of rail transportation in 2026 horizon, the transfer of a significant transportation share of railway against road transportation is on the agenda of TBPRS Company.
